Outstanding opportunities available to appoint four Ground Support Engineers at Stansted Airport (STN).

Responsibilities

  • You will conduct planned, preventative maintenance and service, as well as repairs on a variety of equipment including automotive and ground support equipment.
  • Full training on the service and maintenance of ground support equipment is available.
  • You will work a daytime shift of 4 days on, 4 days off, or 4 days on, 3 days off with a choice to work 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidates are time‑served automotive technicians, mechanics, or plant engineers with a minimum of one year post‑apprenticeship experience.
  • Candidates must hold City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent automotive qualifications and possess knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems.
  • Ex‑Military candidates, particularly from the REME, Royal Engineers, or similar, are highly desirable.
