A rare opportunity has been created for this multi million pound award winning M&E / Mechanical and Electrical Contractor for an Electrical Estimator / Senior Electrical Estimator to report into their West Midlands based offices on occasion whilst also offering a hybrid working model.

We seek a talented and experienced Electrical Estimator to work on containment installation schemes ranging between £10M-£20M+. Candidates applying may be considered if your tender values are below this range, with the ambition to work on larger schemes.

We are interested in either those with commercial and industrial electrical estimating experience into buildings, although we are happy to also consider candidates from a fit out or construction related estimating background. Typical contracts may include data centres, warehouses, hospitals, distribution centres and all manner of industrial sheds, purpose built for manufacturing use.

You will have direct experience in providing detailed and completed tenders including installation times and then review projects after completion for quality and accuracy on future projects. As an Electrical Estimator, you will produce accurate take offs / measures of tenders and be experienced in using estimating software to ensure that the prime cost of the project is fully understood.

Candidates called for will have experience in vetting suppliers and subcontract enquiries whilst working with specialist subcontractors and assessing quotations. You will be a 'finger on the pulse' Estimator and gain up to date knowledge of the market place regarding the level of pricing, competition and volume of work to ensure that competitive estimates are consistently made.

As a clear communicator and methodical character, you will operate well as part of a team and enjoy rolling your sleeves up. This fantastic additional appointment is offered with genuine stability and for a company that delivers first class M&E installations.
