This role can be offered to a Contractor on a daily rate OR as a Permanent Contract. A leading stable and progressive M&E building services contractor have an immediate opening for an Electrical QA/QC Engineer to work from a prestigious project based in the Bicester / Oxfordshire area.

Being site based, you will join the business from either an M&E background OR Electrical Building Services Installation. Paramount is your previous experience in supporting the implementation and delivery of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes on Electrical installation projects, ensuring all installations, inspections and documentation meet the project specifications.

You will carry out site inspections to ensure electrical installations meet design, quality, and specification requirements, whilst supporting site teams in implementing electrical QA/QC procedures. Proactive monitoring is required on electrical works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards as well as maintaining accurate QA documentation using digital platforms such as Procore, Fieldview or Dalux.

You will assist with reviewing and the compilation of electrical test packs, inspections, and certifications as well as ensuring QA records, including as-built documentation are complete and ready for handover.

We seek applicants who have had experience in liaising with electrical subcontractors and those with the skill to support internal and external audits, client inspections, and site meetings. This role would suit someone with at least 2–4 years’ previous experience in a QA/QC, site engineering, or construction role, especially with experience in electrical installations.

Paramount is your understanding of electrical QA/QC processes and documentation as well as electrical standards. Some Electrical qualifications are ideally called for, but your exposure to QAQC in a construction environment is crucial.
