URGENT VACANCY OPPORTUNITY
Outstanding new opportunities are now available to appoint Ground Support Engineers at Edinburgh Airport EDI.
This vastlystable, Global organisation seek skilled Technicians to join their expanding team workingon not only HGV\’s, LGV\’s and similar, but a variety of Ground Support Equipment.
You will conductplanned and preventative maintenance, as well asservice andanyrepairs on a plethora of equipment, giving you real variety and in an incrediblyexciting environment.
Candidates sought will ideallybe time served with a minimum of one year post apprentiship experience.
You will be qualified with City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent automotive qualifications with knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
Offering all PPE anduniforms etc your overalls will be supplied and laundered for you, but you must have your own tools.
Ex Military candidates are highly desirable and those applying will be from either the REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) Royal Engineers or similar.
Candidates highly sought after arethose withHGV Technician / HGV Engineer / HGV Mechanic/ PSV Engineer / PSV Mechanic / Plant Mechanic / Automotive Mechanic / Technician level experience who will enjoyturning their craft to other similar, unusualand relatedplant and ground support equipment.
We will also consider candidates who\’ve come from a construction plant maintenance, service and repair background AND candidates from an HGV / PSV background.
Full training on the service and maintenance of ground support equipment is available withan immediate start working a 4 on 4 off days shift, offering a great work life balance, work 4 days, have 4 days off!
Ongoing development is available to carve out your career further, then with this, you have the scope and genuine progression to Senior and Senior Lead Technician and even beyond!
This stable Global business offers a competitive starting rate of starting basic pay and can offer overtime to increase your earnings with regular reviews based on your performance.
