Robertson recruitment are looking for a HGV class 2 driver to join our client on a permanent basis. This role involves the delivery, collection, and transportation of RoRo skips across commercial, industrial, and construction sites, ensuring a high standard of customer service and compliance at all times.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Approximately 48-50 hours per week
  • Typical start time: 5:00am
  • Return to depot: 3:00pm - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 Roll-On Roll-Off vehicle.
  • Deliver, exchange, and collect RoRo containers from customer sites.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure loads are secured and transported in accordance with company procedures and legislation.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships whilst representing the business professionally.
  • Adhere to all Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and Health & Safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous Roll-On Roll-Off (RoRo) experience preferred.
