Robertson Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join a busy and growing logistics operation in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established business offering long-term stability and career progression.
As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse and distribution operation, ensuring goods are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am - 16:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse using a forklift truck.
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Carrying out stock movements and inventory checks.
- Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and safely.
- Completing relevant paperwork and warehouse documentation.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting the wider warehouse and logistics team as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or freight environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Flexible approach and positive attitude towards work.
