Robertson Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join a busy and growing logistics operation in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established business offering long-term stability and career progression.

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse and distribution operation, ensuring goods are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am - 16:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse using a forklift truck.
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
  • Carrying out stock movements and inventory checks.
  • Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and safely.
  • Completing relevant paperwork and warehouse documentation.
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Supporting the wider warehouse and logistics team as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or freight environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed.
