Welder Fabricator

Robertson Recruitment are working with a well-established sheet metal company seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join the growing team. This is a hands-on role for a skilled individual who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can work confidently from drawings to finished product.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a team leader or supervisor.

Working hours:

Late shift.

14:00pm – 22:00pm

We are also looking for someone for the AM shift too but that is 6-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Welding and fabrication of sheet metal components and assemblies

• Working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications

• MIG/TIG welding (depending on experience and job requirements)

• Cutting, forming, and assembling sheet metal parts

• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping

• Working independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, ideally within a sheet metal environment

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Competent in MIG welding

• Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium preferred

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
