Orbital Recruitment are looking for highly motivated and skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our clients dynamic team on a permanent basis in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out refurbishment work on Rolling Stock Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Replacing worn and corroded parts on Rolling Stock * Must be able to MIG, MAG and TIG welding (Basic) to coded standard * Carry out work in a professional and safe manner * Must be to flexible to working both on and offsite * Must have good fabrication and Basic fitting skills About you: * Ideally Apprenticeship trained * Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically High level of attention to detail * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment * Experience of rolling stock vehicle and component repairs would be advantageous Salary: * £17-£22p/h * OT premium paid * £40 overnight expenses * Lodge paid * £25 a day offsite allowance Company Benefits * 25 + 8 days Statutory Holidays * Company Vehicle use Hours/Contract: * 7am – 3.30pm Mon – Thursday * 7am – 12 Fri Please be aware flexibility is required regarding working hours Working away on occasions required The Next Step: * If you think this would be a great fit for you then APPLY NOW. * Or contact Jon Roome for more info. * Don\’t forget to follow us on Facebook for the latest updates on new jobs roles, events and more
