Warehouse Administrator required

Are you a highly organised administrator with excellent communication skills and experience supporting warehouse or logistics operations? We're recruiting for a warehouse admin to join a busy supply chain team, acting as the key link between warehouse operations, logistics providers and customers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and coordinate incoming drivers and visitors, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Arrange and manage transport bookings with logistics partners.
  • Schedule customer delivery slots and proactively follow up on outstanding deliveries.
  • Coordinate inbound container bookings, managing priorities and any required amendments.
  • Monitor and report on container demurrage and detention charges, including invoice approval.
  • Organise planned maintenance, servicing and repairs for warehouse equipment and facilities.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders for transport, maintenance, consumables, recruitment, pallets, skips and other operational requirements.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and process temporary worker timesheets.
  • Maintain warehouse training records and support the onboarding of new employees.
  • Ensure meeting and showroom areas are stocked and prepared for customer visits.
  • Carry out a range of general office administration duties.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the wider Supply Chain team as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, supply chain or transport administration role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach to work.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider team when needed.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
