For Companies Robertson Recruitment are looking for a press brake machine operator on a day shift. You must be experienced on a press machine and have worked with materials such as steel and aluminium. This is a perm role and the the shifts can be flexible.
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday – 6am – 4pm OR 6am – 6pm
Monday to Friday – 8am – 4:30pm
Overtime is available
Duties:
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings.
- Monitor machine visually and audibly to ensure equipment is operating properly.
- Setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal.
- Set machine by loading material into machine using overhead crane.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance machines.
- Completing paper/computer work.
- To be mindful of continuous improvement and lean principles
