We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing fire and security solutions provider. They are seeking an experienced Engineer or Salesperson with experience in the fire and/or security systems industry to support continued growth across both installation projects and maintenance contracts.
About the Role:
This is a field-based, consultative sales role focused on generating new business while developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle, working closely with internal engineering and operations teams to deliver high-quality, compliant fire and security solutions from initial survey through to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing 23 accurate, high-quality quotations per day
- Achieving a £50,000 monthly sales target
- Managing your own diary, appointments, and weekly activity reporting
- Conducting site surveys, assessing client requirements, and providing expert advice
- Building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with new and existing customers
- Supporting the company’s growth strategy across selected market sectors
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in technical sales or a strong systems/installation engineer (looking for their next step / come away from the tools) within the fire and/or security systems industry (candidates from closely related sectors will also be considered)
- The ability to confidently explain and sell technical solutions
- A proactive, organised, and self-motivated approach
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- A full UK driving licence
Commission & Rewards:
The role offers a clear, performance-driven commission structure, including:
- Up to 2.5% on installation sales
- 3.5% on new business wins
- Up to 12% on qualifying contract sales
Commission is paid monthly on confirmed orders, with no upper earning limit.
