Robertson Recruitment are looking for a motivated and reliable Charge Hand to join a busy recycling and waste management operation. We are looking for someone motivated, with a good work ethic and experience on the machinery within a recycling/waste management environment. This company offers opportunities for progression, so by taking on this role, your next step could be Team Leader, then Supervisor and so on.

Working Hours: 6pm - 6am / 4 on - 4 off Shift Rotation
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day running of the recycling facility
- Step up into Management when the Manager is away from the business
- Operate heavy machinery
- Ensure materials are sorted, processed, and handled correctly
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Monitor workflow and help meet daily production and recycling targets
- Report operational issues, equipment faults, or safety concerns to management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in recycling, waste management, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift or plant experience is an advantage (but not essential)
