We are currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join a well-established bespoke joinery and manufacturing business supplying high-quality products into commercial and residential sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded individual with experience producing manufacturing drawings within a joinery, woodworking or fit-out environment.
The Role- Producing accurate CAD drawings for bespoke joinery and timber products
- Preparing technical and manufacturing drawings for the workshop
- Interpreting architectural drawings and client specifications
- Supporting production teams with technical information and amendments
- Creating cutting lists and material schedules
- Assisting with project coordination from design through to manufacture
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently
The ideal candidate will have experience within:
- Joinery manufacturing
- Shopfitting
- Cabinet making
- Timber production
- Interior fit-out
- Furniture manufacturing
You should have:
- Previous CAD Technician experience within manufacturing or construction
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Understanding of joinery methods and materials
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor or similar software would be advantageous.
