Robertson Recruitment are working with a Nottinghamshire based printing company. You will supervise the finishing team, ensuring all work meets company quality standards, production deadlines, and customer requirements. You will be responsible for managing workflow, maintaining accurate production data, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting the Manager to ensure efficient, timely delivery of all hand-finished work.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Monitor workloads to prevent downtime and ensure staff are always productively assigned
- Work closely with the Manager to ensure all Hand Finishing work is completed and delivered on time
- Carry out pack checks on all jobs prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy and quality
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all job labels are checked, printed, and available on time
- Liaise effectively with internal departments including Finishing, Production, CSR/Account Handlers, Systems, and Dispatch
- Attend production meetings, campaign meetings, and one weekly planning meeting
Skills required:
- Experience in finishing and print production
- Strong understanding of the print industry
- Knowledge of web 2 print processes
