Robertson Recruitment are working with a leading UK manufacturing specialist. They supply to a wide range of industries and pride themselves on quality, efficiency, and a strong team environment. They are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) to join the busy Nottingham site. This is a key role within the warehouse and production team, ensuring materials and finished goods are moved safely and efficiently across the facility.

Working hours: You will have training for 2 weeks doing Monday to Friday 06:00am - 14:00pm. You will then move onto 06:00am - 18:00pm. 4 on 4 off. Overtime is available.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading deliveries and outgoing goods
  • Moving raw materials and finished products between departments
  • Supporting goods-in/goods-out operations
  • Ensuring accurate stock handling and storage
  • Conducting daily forklift checks and reporting any issues
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
