On-Call Welder Required. £16.00 per hour. We are working with our client on a temp position they have available for an experienced welder. Our client is becoming really busy and they are looking for a dependable on-call welder. Whether you are already working somewhere else and have a few hours to spare, or whether you are out of work and would like to be earning throughout your search for a new role. Please note, if you are skilled and fit in well with the team, there is a high possibility that our client will offer you a permanent role.
Please note, you must have your own welding mask and coveralls.
Working Hours Usually: Mon-Wed 2pm-12am, Thurs 2pm-11:30pm
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Welding and fabricating materials used in production
- Working from technical drawings with accuracy and confidence
- Setting up equipment safely and correctly
- Carrying out set-up inspections
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
What We’re Looking For:
- Your own weld mask, overalls and safety boots
- MIG / TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A strong work ethic and pride in what you do
- A team player with a positive attitude
