Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Press Brake Setter / Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid experience (preferably with Safan Darley press brakes).

Shift Pattern & Working Hours:

14:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Friday

Overtime Availability

Responsibilities:

  • To manufacture precision detailed sheet metal components including the set up and use of Press Brakes
  • To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant within any manufacturing area which includes Assembly, Machine Shop and Fabrication
  • To use precision equipment such as Vernier callipers
  • To use and maintain equipment
  • Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
  • To support team members with other tasks as and when necessary
  • Follow Health & Safety Policies

Qualifications:

  • Experience of setting and operating CNC Press Brakes
  • Precision Sheet Metal work experience
  • Ability to sue engineering measuring equipment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to read engineering drawings

Working Conditions:

This position works in a production environment with the risk of injury. Some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment in the shop. Bending, lifting and pushing heavy steel is required.
