Robertson Recruitment are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver / Van Driver to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Derby. This is a varied role that combines forklift truck operation with local van deliveries, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of warehouse and driving responsibilities.
Working hours: 07:30am - 16:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
- Carrying out local deliveries and collections using a company van.
- Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience in a forklift driving role.
- Experience driving a van for business purposes is desirable.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
