Senior HR Advisor

Location: Hybrid travel to North East Baltic Works

Working hours: 38.75 hours, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Flexible working: Hybrid

Robertson Facilities Management (RFM) provides hard and soft FM services, grounds maintenance and energy services for single and multi-site locations throughout the UK. Your new role

As an Senior HR Advisor, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the HR Manager and Head of HR in working closely with the businesses, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures and in line with best practice in people management
  • Building effective working relationships with people managers across the Group
  • Managing ER Advisors
  • Preparing reports
  • Writing policies and proceedures
  • Providing professional advice, guidance and support to line managers on issues regarding employment contracts in accordance with current employment legislation and relevant terms and conditions of service
  • Supporting line managers with sensitive and confidential issues such as attendance review meetings, performance management, grievance, disciplinary, restructures and redundancies and re-evaluation of posts, in accordance with both policies and procedures and best practice.
  • Supporting TUPE programmes, including preparation, consultation and ensuring the relevant legislation is complied with, both at bid stage and throughout the process. Work with trade unions and contract partners as appropriate at all stages of the process

To join us, we’re looking for:

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Significant Employee Relations experience
  • Chartered or Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or relevant qualification
  • Committed to CPD
  • Experience in high volume case management
  • Focused and highly motivated
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
