Overview
Cleaning Supervisor Location: Stella House, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 4pm to 8pm, 20 hours per week
Your new role
What you'll do:
- Maintain and supervise the performance of cleaning staff in line with contractual KPIs.
- This will include training and arrangements of duty rotas and cover arrangements.
- Liaise with the Soft Services Manager to help provide cover for overtime, annual leave, absence etc and complete relevant staff timesheets.
- Allocation of work and quality control, check work schedules and resolve problems.
- Assist in compliance with the site waste management procedures.
- Ensure that RFM procedures and practices are adhered to i.e., Health & Safety and COSHH.
- Ensure that the cleanliness of the site is maintained to the required standards by liaising with the Soft Services Manager on completion of quality audits.
What you'll need:
- Experience of cleaning in a Commercial capacity.
- Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor preferred.
- Good customer care skills.
- Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety best practises.
- Awareness of COSHH regulations.
- Able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales with limited supervision.
