About the role

As a Small Works Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor, providing the necessary input to report on the current and projected financial status of the project. You will help develop the project’s main logic of works programme and ensure that no work commences on site until health and safety policy and the relevant construction phase plan are in place.

  • Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan and observe the requirements of the CDM Regulations in the status of Principal Contractor.
  • Provide leadership and support to all employees.
  • Manage labour and maintain high productivity.
  • Expedite materials and information release from the design team.
  • Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Procedure and Manual.
  • Manage all sub-contractors and supply chain effectively.
  • Supervise the quality of the works and hand over a snag-free building.

What we need from you

You’ll already be qualified to Degree level in Construction or Civil Engineering or have a trade background within construction. Demonstrable leadership and management experience within the construction industry or housebuilding sector is essential. You should also be able to supervise projects from inception to completion while exemplifying our commitment to Health & Safety, ensuring quality and best practice.
