As a SHE Manager supporting our FM business, you’ll be part of a team that’s doing incredible things – for ourselves, for the built environment around us, and for a truly sustainable future.

Your new role:

  • Provide a crucial service to the businesses across the Robertson Group, specifically Facilities Management, with advice, guidance, and support services on SHE related matters.
  • Undertake a corporate governance role on behalf of the senior management teams at both individual business and Robertson Group levels.

What you’ll do:

  • Report centrally to the Head of SHE (FM).
  • Undertake SHE related corporate governance monitoring for the projects.
  • Attend all mandatory project pre-start meetings with new contractors.
  • Support the business in relation to SHE programmes and initiatives.
  • Provide a focus on SHE matters.
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues in relation to SHE matters.
  • Lead significant SHE investigations.
  • Help identify, develop, and as appropriate deliver, SHE training programmes and courses.
  • Conduct site inspections and governance audits in line with agreed requirements.
  • Produce written reports in relation to inspections, governance audits, and incident investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols.

What are we looking for:

  • Significant experience in Facilities Management Industry (5 yrs minimum) with some project work.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001, 9001 etc.
  • CMIOSH.
  • Willingness to travel with some overnight stays (essential).
  • Previous experience of health and safety, environmental or quality system auditing.
  • NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent, in occupational health and safety or environmental management.
  • IEMA or able to demonstrate working knowledge of environmental management systems.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Commitment to delivering a professional, quality service.
  • Focused approach to engagement with operational delivery.
