Overview
Join to apply for the SHE Advisor- Facilities Management role at Robertson Group.
Location: Tameside or Haydock. Based in one of our North West England offices, you’ll provide SHE support to RFM operations at all relevant customer sites in accordance with Company procedures and agreed objectives.
What you’ll do
- Enabling the contract and RFM staff to comply with all relevant SHE regulations while working in a safe manner at all times.
- Provide a high level of operational service support to management and operational staff, establishing specific requirements, identifying and facilitating the resolution of all specific issues to add value to operations.
- Undertake SHE related corporate governance monitoring for regional business heads.
- Assist in assessing the competence of contractors.
- Support local business leads in relation to SHE programmes and initiatives.
- Provide a lead and focus on SHE matters.
- Provide advice and guidance to personnel in relation to SHE matters.
- Lead and advise significant SHE investigations.
- Help identify, develop, and as appropriate deliver, SHE training programmes and courses.
- Conduct site inspections and audits in line with agreed programmes.
- Advise on significant incident investigations within the region.
- Produce written reports in relation to inspections, audits and incident investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols.
- Liaise with local business leads and the HR Department in relation to the delivery and monitoring of training in accordance with core training matrices.
- Deliver in-house SHE training courses.
Qualifications & Experience
You’ll have practical experience in working in facilities management areas – hard and soft disciplines, be NEBOSH qualified in SH&E with previous experience in auditing, being able to write persuasive and effective reports and communications that clearly define findings, causes, and recommendations.
