Your new role
What you’ll do:
- Support the Healthcare Account Manager in the delivery of the FM Business Plan achieving financial and growth.
- Responsible for the operational management of FM leads ensuring best practice is implemented.
- Ensure successful implementation of any efficiency initiatives identified by the Commercial Team where applicable for contract within the scope of the role.
- Collate and review monthly reports on operational and financial performance for each of the contracts within their area. This will include both internal reports and client reporting as specified in the PFI contract.
- Responsible for the implementation of established policies and operational procedures to match the requirements of each contract.
- Manage the project team on site delivering lifecycle, small works and variations to ensure we meet the requirements of CDM and the contract and maintaining regular liaison with the client and provide updates during site meetings or when issues arise.
- Liaise with client representatives ensuring positive constructive relationships based on long term.
- Ensure service delivery is compliant with Health & Safety, QA, Environmental and Energy Policies within their areas of responsibility and maintained within the targets.
- Support the Healthcare Account Manager in the Management and Development of staff ensuring a positive employment culture, career development, effective training strategies and high retention levels.
- Ensuring the Commercial risks on the contract are managed effectively, working closely with the commercial team to mitigate deductions and performance.
- Support the Healthcare Account Manager in the analysis of regional contract performance and the successful development and implementation of Transformation/Remedial plans where appropriate.
- Ensure all risks to the business are identified and logged in the company risk management system, including control.
What you’ll need:
- Candidate will be an experienced manager with professional qualification FM / Hard Services.
- The post holder should have a technical engineering bias and a good knowledge of HTM requirements in a PFI Healthcare environment.
- Hold a relevant qualification in a Facilities Management discipline or have relevant experience.
- The post holder will have a robust understanding of the construction of a PFI Contract, how schedules interface and payment obligations with experience in mitigation within contractual constraints.
- Demonstrate a track record of success in the delivery of FM services to the Public and Private Sectors. Experience in PFI Healthcare contracts is essential.
- Understand the need to maximize profit, but maintain a high standard within each contract's specifications.
- Prepare contract specific budgets and manage expenditure to achieve financial targets.
- High quality interpersonal skills, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work with good problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check before starting in the job.

Taking full accountability for Operational Performance, Contractual and Business KPI’s and Financial Results across the contract, ensuring performance is in line with company expectation as set for the Region.
