As Maintenance Engineer - Electrical /Mechanical, you'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the FM Agreement
- Undertaking planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance work either independently or as assistant to a maintenance tradesman on:
- Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems.
- Reactive repairs to all types of lighting systems and power distribution systems.
- Service and repair of motors and pumps.
- Service and repair of fan coil units and associated systems.
- Service and repair to HVAC control panels.
- Service and repair of fire alarm systems.
- Competent on BMS control systems.
- Competent PAT tester.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND in a Building Services Discipline or an M&E Trade Specific Apprenticeship with experience of project supervision.
- CSCS.
- Project Engineering of both M&E disciplines and the associated subcontractors on projects ranging from £50K - £2 Million.
- Proactive, flexible, motivated approach to work.
- Health & Safety Awareness.
- Proficient IT.
- Analytical, planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of planning, programming and supervising/managing high value projects.
- Financial/Commercial awareness.
- Varied project history and a good knowledge of the sub-contractor and supply chain base.
- A strong understanding of technical issues and trends in the construction sectors.
- Experience of construction in the following sectors ideally: Education, Healthcare, Retail, Commercial, Refurbishments & Design & Build.
