As the Painter on site, you will operate in and maintain a physical environment in which healthcare can be delivered to the patient. The main elements are the maintenance of both building fabric and services including external and internal finishes, fittings, and fixtures, ranging from minor alterations to major refurbishments.

Responsibilities

  • Planned and reactive decoration of the hospital facility
  • Assist other trades when necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant experience and/or qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in painting, decorating, plaster work, etc.
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to follow written instruction and safety procedures
  • Required: enhanced DBS check before starting
