Responsibilities
- Support the Healthcare Account Manager in the delivery of the FM Business Plan, achieving financial targets and growth.
- Operationally manage FM leads, ensuring best practice is implemented.
- Implement efficiency initiatives identified by the Commercial Team where applicable within contract scope.
- Collate and review monthly operational and financial performance reports for each contract, both internal and client‑specified, and enforce established policies and procedures.
- Manage the on‑site project team delivering lifecycle, small works and variations to meet CDM and contract requirements, maintaining regular liaison with the client and providing updates when issues arise.
- Liaise with client representatives to build positive, constructive long‑term relationships.
- Ensure service delivery complies with Health & Safety, QA, Environmental and Energy Policies and stays within targets.
- Support staff management and development, fostering a positive employment culture, career advancement, effective training, and high retention.
- Manage commercial risks on the contract, working with the commercial team to mitigate deductions and affect performance positively.
- Analyze regional contract performance and develop/implement transformation or remedial plans where appropriate.
- Identify, log and manage all business risks in the company risk‑management system.
Qualifications
- Experienced manager with a professional FM or Hard Services qualification.
- Technical engineering bias with solid knowledge of HTM requirements in a PFI Healthcare environment.
- Relevant Facilities Management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Robust understanding of PFI contract construction, schedule interfaces, payment mechanisms and mitigation within contractual constraints.
- Proven track record delivering FM services to Public and Private sectors, with essential experience in PFI Healthcare contracts.
- Ability to balance profit maximisation with maintaining high contractual standards.
- Experience preparing contract‑specific budgets and managing expenditure to achieve financial targets.
- High quality interpersonal skills with excellent written and spoken communication.
- Flexible, adaptable and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- DBS/Disclosure Check required prior to commencement.
