Your new role:
- Work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor, providing necessary input for financial status reporting.
- Help develop the project's main logic of works programme, ensuring health and safety policy and relevant construction phase plan are in place before work commences on site.
- Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan, observing the requirements of the CDM Regulations as Principal Contractor.
- Provide leadership and support to all employees.
- Manage labour and maintain high productivity.
- Expedite materials and information release from the design team.
- Comply with the company’s Quality Procedure and Manual.
- Manage all sub-contractors and supply chain effectively.
- Supervise the quality of the works and hand over a snag-free building.
About you:
You’ll have previous leadership experience in the construction industry, along with a degree in a built environment discipline or relevant trade expertise. You should be able to supervise projects from inception to completion, exemplifying our commitment to Health & Safety, and ensuring quality and best practice. Above all, you’ll be a confident and credible communicator, able to explain complex issues to sub-contractors and clients at all levels of business.
