Location: Lifescan Scotland - Inverness

Working hours: 4 on 4 off night shift - 18:00 to 06:00 - 42.11 Hours per Week

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

Salary: £14.65 per hour

Your new role

What you’ll do:

  • To carry all duties requested by the client in line with the Standard Operating Procedures
  • Monitoring the CCTV cameras on site, ensuring buildings, valuables and people are safe and secure
  • Operating the security access computer system for all swipe access on site and recording any abnormalities
  • Patrolling the perimeter of the site, ensuring all areas are safe and secure and providing a professional visible deterrent and recording and reporting any incidents, risks or potential problems
  • Monitoring and documenting all vehicles entering and leaving the site
  • Front desk reception duties, including answering the phone and dealing with visitors, where needed
  • Recording and documenting all incidents and daily occurrences
  • Operating handheld radios, with clear concise communication
  • Assisting with work permits for contractors working on site
  • Issuing ID badges and other passes to people entering the site

What you'll need:

  • Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working
  • Awareness of COSHH regulations
  • A valid Front-Line SIA Licence
  • Successful completion of a 5 year reference check, adverse financial check and identification checks

The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check before starting in the job.
