Role Purpose
To organise the day to day running of the site and to supervise all trades to ensure a high quality of workmanship. Managing employees on site, keeping paperwork up to date including – time sheets, allocation sheets, dayworks, etc. Following all safety procedures in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Plan.
Duties
- Organise all labour on site, including Sub‑Contractors
- Quality Control
- Make sure all plant and machines are used safely and efficiently on site
- Setting out
- Maintaining safety records and carrying out audits
- Keeping site records up to date as per Project Quality Plan
- Maintain filing system
- Checking time sheets
- Keeping safety/scaffold/plant registers up to date
- Carry out all duties in accordance with Site Manager’s Procedure Manual
- Management of project specific dashboards
- Management of BIM 360 quality support procedures
Qualifications/Relevant Industry Experience
Previous experience in the Housing Industry and timber frame experience essential. Experience in managing Architects, Engineers, Clients, Sub‑contractors, Supply Chain. Ability to communicate with RPH staff at all levels. Health & Safety – 5‑day SMSTS/CSCS Black card, First Aid.
About you
As a Site Manager you’ll have either a construction related degree or be from a trade background with construction management experience, hold a valid CSCS card, be SMSTS qualified and be competent in Health and Safety practice with good first aid knowledge. With a strong project pipeline, the Site Manager role will give you the opportunity to really grow and develop your skills providing continuing support for all our on‑site teams.
