Your new role

  • Provide sub-contractors enquiries
  • Produce material enquiries in conjunction with buying department
  • Produce analytical tenders for all projects from bills of quantities, specification and drawings etc.
  • Produce quantities from drawings if required
  • Prepare on costs in conjunction with planning and operations departments
  • Reporting and advise Senior Management on projects at tender adjudication
  • Liaise with Design Team during tendering process as necessary
  • Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Any other duties as required by the Senior Management Team

What you’ll need

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a Built Environment discipline
  • Estimating experience within a relevant sector in the Construction industry
  • A member of the RICS (Desirable)

About You

You’ll already have experience of estimating for construction projects and a background in a similar role. Excellent IT skills are just as important. You’ll bring strong attention to detail, accurate reporting skills, a professional approach, and a genuine ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
