Your new role
About the role:
As a Commercial Administrator you’ll be responsible for:
- Compile, process and issue sub contract orders and track signing using “Docu Sign “
- Update and maintain commercial document registers (orders, order amendments, warranties, insurance claim etc) in central database.
- Assisting in compilation of sub contract Tender Documentation and generating enquiry letters.
- Supply Chain Management – supporting process to ensure all proposed subcontractors have been assessed, are approved and listed on the Group database and compliant with the subcontractor Financial checking process.
- Support Commercial Director and core team in administrative duties, including attendance and minute taking at TCI meetings, drafting agendas, capturing, and tracking any actions
- Provision of administrative support to the commercial team including filing, scanning, archiving, photocopying and any other duties
- Assist monitoring compliance and reporting as required including Framework deliverables
- Assist the Commercial Director by ensuring that all parties responsible for the relevant elements of the project management plan are identified and that the elements are being progressed
- Support with compilation of all Gateway Checklists (GW5 – GW7) for all projects
- Compile, process and issue sub-contract orders.
- Assist in the preparation and production of documents and reports as directed by Commercial team.
- Contribute to improving the business by putting forward new ideas and, when requested to do so, implementing change.
About you:
You\'ll have previous experience of undertaking a commercial administration/project administrative role for 3+ years in a busy office environment and previous experience of working within the construction industry is preferred. You\'ll be able to demonstrate excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, be IT literate – including Microsoft packages (outlook, word, power point, excel), SharePoint and Teams, with a high attention to detail. You\'ll be a team player demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude – always friendly and approachable and able to work to deadlines, being flexible and able to prioritise workloads.
