The predicted salary is between 20000 - 28000 £ per year.

The role is in the afternoon shift, however you may be asked to cover the morning shift when necessary, to help the smooth running of the building.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out routine and ad-hoc janitorial duties in support of all on-site personnel to ensure compliance with contract conditions.
  • Carrying out planned janitorial maintenance duties in accordance with agreed timescales and procedures and undertake any property maintenance work within the post holder's range of competence.
  • Supervising, developing and monitoring of all cleaning staff to ensure cleaning standards are maintained in accordance with contract conditions and agreed quality management procedures.
  • Maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all the school's energy systems in accordance with agreed contract conditions.
  • Providing support and assistance to any other sites as directed by the Lead Janitor or Facilities Manager.

Requirements

  • Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working.
  • Awareness of COSHH regulations.
  • The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check prior to starting in the role.
