Your new role
What you’ll do:
Carryingout routine and ad-hoc janitorial duties in support of all on site personnel to ensure compliance with contract conditions
- Carrying out planned janitorial maintenance duties in accordance with agreed timescales and procedures and undertake any property maintenance work within the post holder’s range of competence
- Supervising, developing and monitoring of all cleaning staff to ensure cleaning standards are maintained in accordance with contract conditions and agreed quality management procedures
- Maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all the school’s energy systems in accordance with agreed contract conditions
- Providing support and assistance to any other sites as directed by the Lead Janitor or Facilities Manager
What you’ll need:
- Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working
- Awareness of COSHH regulations
The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check prior to starting in the role.
