Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Full Time - Fixed Term Contract - (Until Feb 2027)

What you will do:

  • Co‑ordinate the organisation, procurement and management of delivery of project works including preparation and issue of tender packages and producing detailed tender analysis of tender returns ensuring value for money is demonstrable.
  • Coordination with all interested parties on approved projects to agree timescales and sequence of works.
  • Provision of effective liaison with building users to establish the required brief and appropriate surveys.
  • Management of a multi‑disciplinary project team, consultants and subcontractors for delivery of works.
  • Provision of regular reports both internal and external covering project delivery status, financials, risks etc.
  • Convening and attending appropriate project and client meetings.
  • Overall responsibility for all Health & Safety including compliance with the CDM Regulations associated with delivery of works.
  • To ensure compliance with all statutory, IMS, security and relevant company and client policies generating a true health and safety culture.
  • Demonstrate project management skills in supply chain management for delivery and cost control of all projects.
  • Ensure delivery of a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient and compliant service in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations.
  • Providing guidance, advice, support, post incident reviews, audit management, resource optimisation and benchmarking services covering all aspects of project work.
  • Acts as ‘Technical Expert’, ensuring technical competence of the team/supply chain whilst validating and disseminating best practice and innovation.
  • Assist in the establishment of systems of governance, monitoring and control, designed to ensure appropriate control over all critical service points, to maximise customer satisfaction, minimise customer complaints and other adverse feedback.
  • Support and lead introduction of operational best practice into the region.

What you'll need:

  • Experience in project management roles related to facilities management contracts.
  • Strong communication with Project team members, Contract Leads, Operation Manager.
  • Strong communication with client representatives and their advisors.
  • Very regular communication with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
  • Experience of CAFM software within facilities management contracts.
  • Training/experience of working within the CDM Regulations.
  • Able to prepare work estimates.
  • Ability to operate effective IT systems.
  • Recognised Project Management Qualification.

About you:

The successful candidate will become part of the RFM contract leadership team, leading all capital and revenue projects in M&E, HVAC, energy, building fabric and specialist projects including pre‑construction activity, supply chain & direct resourcing, estimating and project delivery programmes to the highest safety standards. The successful candidate will also be required to deputise where necessary for the contract account lead.
