Robertson Bell is delighted to be supporting a respected institution to recruit a Unit4 / Agresso System & Project Manager on a permanent basis. This is a pivotal role that will oversee day-to-day operations while leading on system improvements, supporting a major cloud migration project, and working closely with finance stakeholders to enhance processes.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of financial systems, resolving tickets and ensuring smooth BAU delivery.
- Lead on identifying system-related issues within the finance team, recommending and implementing improvements and automation opportunities.
- Act as a key business partner to finance, translating technical system functionality into clear insights for non-technical colleagues.
- Play a leading role in the upcoming cloud migration project, including planning, testing interfaces, and ensuring seamless integration.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal IT teams and external providers to support system performance and innovation.
This role is offered on a very remote basis, with two days per month on site. The organisation offers a friendly and welcoming environment, with a strong sense of community and a pleasant office with good commuter links.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have deep experience working with Unit4 (Agresso), ideally including migration to the cloud and knowledge of key financial modules.
- Understand system interfaces, particularly with student records or similar.
- Bring strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and translate technical language for non-specialists.
- Be proactive, collaborative, and able to operate independently within a small team environment.
- Ideally hold project or systems-related qualifications such as Prince2, though this is not essential.
- Have previous experience working in a complex, service-oriented organisation.
