Robertson Bell are excited to partner with a community-based housing association, to recruit a Service Charge Accountant on a permanent basis. In this role you will be managing a variety of different responsibilities, including setting service charges, reconciling the actuals and having total control within the service charge function. In this Service Charge Accountant position, you will: Set all service charges, making sure to prepare and reconcile the journals and actuals as well. Assist and train one person that would report into you, imparting your knowledge. Make sure to keep oversight of the budgeting and forecasting process. Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with tenants where necessary. Collaborating with various people across the organisation to drive process improvements. Based in North Hertfordshire, the successful candidate will enjoy a great working culture, in addition to a hybrid work setting, in which you will have to come into the office three days per week.
