Robertson Bell are supporting a unique Public Sector organisation to recruit an interim Head of Finance on an initial three-month contract. This role offers a rare opportunity to work almost fully remotely, with only occasional travel, typically to London, required for meetings.
The Head of Finance will be responsible for:
- Leading on the Year End process, including preparation of the Statutory Accounts and acting as the main point of contact for Auditors.
- Oversee the day to day running of the finance function, ensuring financial transactions are processed in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Provide support to non-financial stakeholders, with a particular focus on budget management and financial planning.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant.
- Have demonstrable experience operating in a similar role, overseeing all elements of finance.
- Be comfortable leading on the Year End process.
- Possess sound knowledge of Public Sector finance.
