I am seeking an ambitious and dynamic finance professional to join a highly-regarded organisation in Northampton! If you have a strong record in delivering a first-class business partnering then this could be the next contract for you!
This well-known organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team for an initial three months with high potential for extension / going permanent. The role is based in Northampton on a hybrid basis. In this key role, you will be the main point of contact between the finance department and budget holders across the organisation, building strong relationships and providing financial support and guidance.
Key responsibilities:
- Regularly meet with budget holders to review financial performance, identify issues, and provide advice and recommendations
- Support the annual budget setting process, working closely with budget holders to understand their plans and translate these into budgets
- Produce and explain financial reports, ensuring budget holders understand the financial information
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Act as a trusted advisor to budget holders, helping them make informed financial decisions
The ideal candidate will have:
- Part qualified within CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
- Significant experience in a finance business partnering or similar advisory role
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful insights
- Understanding of public sector is an advantage
