Robertson Bell are supporting a Public Sector organisation based in West London to recruit an interim Finance Business Partner on a contract that will initially run until the end of March. This is a hybrid role, with office attendance twice weekly.
The interim Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:
- Partnering with key stakeholders across the business to support them with their financial management and decision-making.
- Monitoring spend against budget, updating forecasts and providing guidance on financial plans.
- Running a smooth month end process including preparation of the management accounts with supporting analysis and commentaries.
- Preparing and reviewing business cases, particularly for ongoing projects.
The successful candidate will be:
- An accomplished management accountant/finance business partner, ideally with some experience in the Public Sector.
- A qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA).
- Confident in using MS Excel to at least an intermediate level, navigating and manipulating large data sets.
- Effective in building relationships outside of finance and influencing decisions.
