Do you have experience working with finance software and want to develop your career in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are excited to partner with an organisation in North West London to recruit a permanent Finance Systems Administrator . This role offers a unique opportunity to make an impact within a purpose-driven organisation while furthering your career in finance systems management.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in the maintenance of financial systems, such as Access Dimensions, Focal Point, Donor Strategy, and other financial reporting tools. You\’ll manage user access, security protocols, and ensure systems are within the agreed license numbers.
- Help resolve system-related issues, data discrepancies, and performance problems in collaboration with finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams. You\’ll also provide user training and documentation to improve system usage and understanding across the finance department.
- Work closely with business users to understand their needs and propose system solutions. You’ll assist in developing and maintaining financial reporting templates, ensuring data accuracy, and extracting financial data for reporting and analysis.
- Assist in various other reasonable duties as requested by the Assistant Director of Finance and the Finance Systems Analyst.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot system-related issues and accounting discrepancies.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Experience in using Microsoft D365, Access Dimensions, Focal Point, Business Central, and other finance-related software.
- An understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial systems.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and provide user support and training.
- SQL knowledge and familiarity with database management is highly desirable.
- A degree in IT, finance systems, or equivalent experience.
