We're recruiting an Interim Finance Systems Specialist for an initial three-month project with a not-for-profit organisation experiencing challenges following the implementation of a new finance system. The system is live, but several important areas are still reliant on cumbersome manual workarounds. This assignment is about getting under the skin of the current configuration, identifying what isn't working and delivering tangible improvements. Key priorities will include: Undertaking a review of the current finance system configuration and identifying opportunities for improvement Resolving issues preventing effective automated bank and rent reconciliations Improving VAT functionality and supporting an effective MTD process Reviewing and improving budget uploads and management reporting functionality Developing greater automation and reducing reliance on manual processes Supporting the development of dashboards and, where possible, automated financial reporting Leaving behind robust, sustainable processes that the finance team can operate after the assignment
