The Associate Attorney will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of real estate and foreclosure-related legal documentation. Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and interpret legal documents related to real estate, foreclosure, and title matters
- Conduct quality control (QC) of pleadings, affidavits, and related court filings
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or deficiencies in legal documents
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, client directives, and court requirements
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed records of document review progress within firm systems
- Provide support to litigation and foreclosure teams as needed
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar (required)
- 1–5 years of experience in document review, real estate, foreclosure, or litigation preferred
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing complex documentation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Compensation & Benefits
