Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Area Sales Engineer to drive new business, develop key accounts and play an integral role in their future success.

The Role
Reporting into the Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, securing and developing new customer relationships while maximising opportunities within an established portfolio of accounts. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across your territory.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Growing revenue within both new and existing customer accounts.
- Developing tailored commercial solutions that add genuine value to customers.
- Acting as the primary point of contact, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to account development.
- Working closely with internal technical and operational teams to deliver outstanding service.

Requirements
Your experience: We're looking for a commercially driven individual who combines technical understanding with excellent relationship-building skills. You'll ideally have:
- A mechanical, electrical or technical engineering background, either through hands-on experience or technical sales.
- Proven success within a business development or technical sales role.
- A strong track record of generating new business and developing profitable customer relationships.
- Experience selling technical products, services or engineered solutions into manufacturing or industrial environments.
- The ability to build credibility with engineering, maintenance and operational decision-makers.
- An established network of contacts that can help generate new commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach with a genuine desire to exceed targets.
What's on Offer
