About the Role
- Role: Permanent, Full Time
- Location: London Office
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
- Salary: Competitive + benefits (25 days holiday, pension, healthcare, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a small team, ensuring smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations.
- Provide a warm welcome to visitors, handle initial queries, and offer hospitality as needed.
- Manage incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and maintain an organized reception inbox.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and conference calls, ensuring all catering, AV, and logistics are set up to perfection.
- Oversee the setup and upkeep of meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and well-presented.
- Support the hospitality team to ensure seamless catering operations.
- Manage visitor log, issue passes, and maintain safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and act as Fire Marshal for client-facing areas.
What experience you'll need:
- Previous experience in a similar role - events and/or front of house.
- Excellent communication and telephony skills.
- Well-practised organisational skills including the ability to prioritise.
- Proficient listening skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team and provide direction to direct reports.
- The ability to work under their own initiative.
- Exceptional customer focus and care, with the flexibility, energy, and desire to understand the company culture.
- A calm and professional manner.
- Flexibility in approach and willingness to work outside of normal hours if business needs dictate.
