Our client, a global company with offices on the Wirral, is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. It's a fantastic opportunity to work for a company with a very low turnover of staff. Their products are excellent, and their clients are across the UK and Ireland.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Attending client sites to manage the installations of new machinery
- Quickly reacting and solving breakdowns with any machines
- Managing scheduled maintenance repairs
- Building relationships with your key clients
- Offering advice and guidance to customers over the telephone or face to face
- Responsible for ordering spare parts and managing your spare part inventory
- Providing an excellent customer service
What experience/skills you'll need:
- You'll be an experienced Field Service Engineer and you'll enjoy travelling across the UK & Ireland
- Ideally you'll have a HNC/HND Engineering qualification (electrical bias)
- PLC Fault Finding experience
- You'll be a natural rapport builder and enjoy building relationships
- Comfortable with working extra hours as and when required
- A full UK driving licence
