We are delighted to be partnering with an impressive business in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Senior HR Manager to join their team. This role would suit a generalist HR professional who enjoys being operational as well as strategic, is able to navigate the ever changing HR landscape in a fast growing business whilst managing a small yet effective team. Must be passionate about employee engagement and wellbeing and enjoy building relationships at all levels.
Location: Hybrid working, 3 days Manchester office
Salary: Up to £70k per annum

Overview of role and key responsibilities:
- Support senior leaders across the business, coaching, guiding and improving leadership capability
- Organisational design, succession planning and workforce planning
- Leading projects
- Overseeing HR operations including policies, processes, systems and technology
- Identify opportunities to improve
- Ensure compliance, governance and best practice are embedded across the business
- Manage an ER caseload (escalated issues)
- Give legally sound advice and guidance to managers on employment law
- Supporting Managers with performance management reviews including objective setting
- Work closely with L&D for development opportunities across the business, succession planning and internal career development initiative and training
- Drive the engagement and values proposition through the business focusing on employee experience, employee wellbeing and inclusion
- Own HR metrics and data, reporting and dashboards for key monitoring and to inform business decisions
Skills and experience:
- This role would suit someone who has strong experience of operating at a Senior HR Manager/BP level previously ideally within a dynamic or fast growing business
- Ideally level 7 CIPD Qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Able to effectively manage complex ER issues
- Strong HR generalist - enjoys operational and strategic HR work
- Management experience
- Exceptional relationship building skills able to partner and influence senior leaders
- Experience of delivering organisational change and HR projects
