Human Resources Consultant

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our clients\’ team as a HR Consultant. It\’s a full-time, permanent role.

Location: Chester offices 3 days per week

Salary: £40,000 – 45,000

Hours: Monday to Friday

Benefits: Private medical after probation, EAP, pension, supportive environment, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

What you\’ll be doing:

• Offering advice to clients on a wide range of matters including employment law and hands on HR Consultancy services
• Supporting with employment contracts, policies and company handbooks as well as other HR documents
• Managing and leading on formal HR processes such as disciplinaries, redundancies, grievances
• Delivering training sessions for Managers, MD\’s and CEO\’s on current employment law topics and best practice
• Supporting with various HR projects
• Maintain accurate client records

What experience you\’ll need?

• You\’ll be an experienced HR / Employment Law professional who enjoys advising and supporting with hands-on HR topics
• Strong and current understanding of UK employment law, best practices and employee relations
• Experience in chairing disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies and TUPE consultations
• Excellent presentation skills, able to deliver training
• Commercially minded approach to problem solving ensuring clients receive practical and strategic guidance
• Enjoys managing a variety of client matters simultaneously
