Role Summary: Support the production (Extrusion and Reclaim) / warehouse in their day-to-day duties. Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety, BRC and ISO are fully met. Support with warehouse duties and ancillary support on the extrusion equipment.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain the required BRC hygiene standards on the extruders by undertaking a robust cleaning/painting schedule.
- Support production in their ‘clean as you go’ standard.
- Perform various warehouse duties, including loading and unloading of vehicles, maintaining warehouse cleanliness using the floor scrubber, and internal stock movements.
- Train in basic extrusion knowledge to support the production team and succession planning.
- Trained to use Silo blower and resin drier.
- Trained on the core cutter.
- Empty large bins into external skips.
- Help support the production team with the running of the in-house recycling machine.
